Our classes are designed for expectant parents who want online one-on-one guidance while staying in the safety and comfort of their own homes.

 

Private Online Childbirth Education for the First-Time Families:

This one-on-one interactive class, using Zoom to meet online, blends a combination of Google Slides and visual guides, with the goal of leaving you relaxed and prepared for the birth of your baby.

 

This Express Childbirth Education class is a three-hour commitment. It offers families a streamlined, no-frills version of our weekend classes. This class is not for families looking to dive into the mechanics of labor and birth. Thurs. 2pm - 5pm 

Class covers but is not limited to:

  • Stages of Labor

  • Signs of Labor

  • Pain Coping techniques

  • Helpful tips for the partner

  • What to expect from your birthing location

  • What to pack and how to prepare

  • Pain medications for labor

  • The postpartum body & breastfeeding

Please note the class fee covers attendance for two people. $199​

(2 day Virtual)

 

Our classes are designed for expectant parents who want online one-on-one guidance while staying in the safety and comfort of their own homes.

 

Private Online Childbirth Education for the First-Time Families:

This one-on-one interactive class, using Zoom to meet online, blends a combination of Google Slides and visual guides, with the goal of leaving you relaxed and prepared for the birth of your baby.

This two-day weekend class is a three-hour commitment per day.  It dives deep into the mechanic of labor and birth. Leaving you feeling calm and prepared for birth.

 

Topics covered:

  • Anatomy of pregnancy and understanding your changing body.

  • Signs the body is getting ready to labor and how you’ll know when in labor.

  • Stages and phases of labor: the role of hormones and emotional changes.

  • Relaxation and breathing techniques.

  • Effective positions to help labor progression.

  • Natural and medical supports for induction or augmentation of labor.

  • Understanding medical support including inductions

  • Pain management options including epidural

  • Cesarean birth and how to avoid it. How to advocate for your needs during labor and birth.

  • Waiting for the urge to push, stage 2 of labor.

  • Breastfeeding and postpartum resources and much, much more...

*Purchasing a Birth Ball for the class would be very helpful so you can practice labor positions and have it for your birth.  If you are 5”3 or less purchase a size 65cm, and if are over 5”3 purchase a size 75cm.
